The DJM Metis is effective at diagnosing a range of skin conditions while also accurately forecasting the tendency of freckles and wrinkles in your skin for the next 5-10 years. Through detailed reporting techniques the DJM Metis means skin concerns can be acted upon early, before they become more prolific.
Unlike some lasers, the Candela GentleMAX Pro is more than just a hair removal laser device. It’s dual lasers allow it to effectively and safely treat a variety of skin and vascular issues. These range from skin pigmentation issues to Telangiectasia.
FIVE SPECTRUM MODES
The DJM Metis uses five different spectrums to build a detailed picture of skin health.
Woods Light Mode:
Skin is exposed to ultraviolet light to reveal skin problems such as vitiligo and various spots. It also allows the identification of the secretion area of acne and skin oil.
Cross Polarised Light Mode:
Allows for the observation of uneven skin tone and blood capillary structure. Aging skin can be observed to be more transparent and irregular skin characteristics are exposed.
Parallel Polarisation Mode:
The visibility of the surface of the skin is enhanced, revealing detailed skin structure, pores, and newly developed fine lines while also helping the observation of uneven skin.
Daylight Mode:
Uniform soft light is scattered over the face to create a clear and objective image for use as a future comparison.
UV Light Mode:
A small amount of UV light is used to penetrate under the surface of the facial skin to observe hidden details of deeper skin health.
